8am – 9:30am at The Remember Them Monument in Kaiser Memorial Park (19th Street & Rashida Muhammad Street – between Telegraph and MLK, Jr.).  In the event it rains, we will meet at the MADE (3400 Broadway CA – half block north of Piedmont & Broadway)


10 am @ The MADE (Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment)

This is a combined Celebration of the first anniversary of PJMan & The StarGazers Kids program, our partnership with the MADE (Museum of Art & Digital Entertainment https://www.themade.org/ ), the 2017 Graduation of kids who completed the Introduction to Project Management and Leadership class and our second Speaker Series session where we will kick off our 6th project for kids.   The  kids they will take 1 or more of the 25 humanitarians and 8 elected officials representing 34th Street and Broadway in Oakland area, Rashida Mustafa Muhammad  (where the monument is located) and create a website, game, video , app and other documents from their research to honor that person.

We are also honored to have Oakland Native Mario Chiodo as our guest speaker.  Mario is the artist of the Remember Them monument which sits at 19th Street and Rashida  Muhammad Street.  A smaller version can also be found at the Oakland Kaiser hospital off Broadway.

We will also take this opportunity to acknowledge Martin Luther Kings’ birthday and do something in recognition of National Day of Service.
