Introduction to Project Management for Kids

We started with another lesson in leadership regarding accountability.  We revisited our book report project using Work Breakdown Structure to create a schedule.

Scratch Video Game Programming (Claw Game)

Building on skills learned in first two classes, Jeremy Sachs taught the kids how to program a Claw game. The weeks the kids were introduced to nested Forever loops with If then else statements.  To see our games, visit our Scratch Studio.

Scratch Drawing

Al Sweigart repeated our exercise in using the tools in Scratch to create backdrop stages, creating our own take on Piet Mondarin’s style and then we created our own versions of Shoots & Ladders and a treasure map. One technique we learned initially in the first class but expounded on in this class was zooming in to create details. To see our final products, visit our Scratch Studio.
